Lions Club International District 300E-3 Kaohsiung City Aiyi Lions Club’s 8th first knockout combined with charity auction, participants responded enthusiastically

"Today, the 8th Annual Inaugural Meeting and Charity Auction of the Lions Club International District 300E-3, Kaohsiung Love and Charity Lions Club, was held at the Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel, attracting nearly 450 participants. The scale of the event has garnered widespread attention.

During the first half of the inaugural meeting, Wang Jiju, the first director of Lions Clubs International District 300E-3, who specially rushed to the scene, expressed, 'From President Xue Weili, I see his innovation and strong execution. The planning he has done completely aligns with the Lions Clubs International's five major service areas. Through President Xue Weili's leadership, the Love and Charity Lions Club successfully integrates sustainable development with charity. This not only demonstrates a new face of ESG community service but also incorporates the Lions Clubs International's five major service areas, conveying the contribution and dedication spirit of Lions Clubs International to society. I believe that this year will lead the Kaohsiung Love and Charity Lions Club to new heights.'

Wu Huiyi, mentor of the Love and Charity Lions Club, and former director, said, 'President Xue is a very outstanding young man. He has excellent marketing integration capabilities and spares no effort in charity. I believe that this year, the Love and Charity Lions Club will reach new heights under his leadership.'

Cai Fula, former director of Lions Clubs International District 300E-3, said, 'President Xue Weili and I were both representatives of good people and good deeds in Kaohsiung in 111. The second half of the charity auction event was organized by the Chinese Brand Boutique Appraisal Association. Wu Yingyuan, chairman (also this year's secretary of the Love and Charity Lions Club), said, 'President Xue Weili has shown amazing results in public welfare and community service over the past month. Not only has he planned to cooperate with Taiwan's Pride Farm to create the world's first UN-certified net-zero farm, but he also plans to hold a charity run with 5,000 participants on October 21. The entire income, excluding costs, is expected to be donated to the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation. As the chairman of the Chinese Brand Boutique Appraisal Association, I am very meaningful to be able to lead association members to participate in such a meaningful event at the beginning of the association's establishment.'

The press conference for the '2023 JOIN IT Love in ESG Sustainable Charity Run' will be held at 10:00 am on August 4 (Friday) in the briefing room of the Kaohsiung City Council. Runners interested in the marathon or friends who respond to ESG public welfare are welcome to attend and support. Co-organizers and sponsors are also actively being recruited. The proceeds from this fundraising event, after deducting costs, will be fully donated to the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation for the original bed bath service.
