"Join it" collects vegetable boxes to send to those who love plants

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact various industries, leading to the cancellation of numerous events. The Genesis Foundation, which relies on the trickle of support from the public, is currently facing challenges. Upon learning about this, "Join it Technology Co., Ltd." made a generous donation of 100,000 NT dollars on July 1st. They also initiated the nationwide "Collect Vegetable Boxes, Send Love to Vegetative Patients" campaign, aiming for a goal of one thousand boxes. They called on corporate and community organizations to join hands in bringing warmth to Genesis Nursing Homes and their families across Taiwan. (See image)

The event has seen responses from Lions Clubs, Rotary Clubs, and various corporate and community organizations. Notably, Lions Clubs International District 300E-1, Zone 4 Chairperson Lu Mei-hui led the Love-Impact Lions Club in contributing to this charitable cause. Chen Chien-nan, President of Love-Impact Lions Club, expressed gratitude to Mr. Hsueh Wei-li, the person in charge of InTogether Technology Co., Ltd. and a fellow Lion, for the invitation. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Mr. Hsueh Wei-li has demonstrated a commitment to extending help to those in need. Lai Hsin-chung, President of Kaohsiung Gongshin Rotary Club, pointed out that the Rotary Club's theme for the year is "Transforming Lives Through Service." They are pleased to participate in such a meaningful social service activity and hope that through this event, families of vegetative patients can feel the warmth of society. Entertainer Bai Hsin-ju (Bai Bai) invited everyone to join hands in doing charity work and help families of vegetative patients across Taiwan.

Zhou Guan-hua, Director of Kaohsiung Branch of the Genesis Foundation, emphasized that the services for vegetative patients have been severely impacted by the ongoing pandemic, leading to the suspension of charity events. The Genesis special project donation has dropped by fifty percent. The timely and compassionate support from Join it Technology Co., Ltd., Lions Clubs, and Rotary Clubs has provided the capacity to care for the vulnerable vegetative patients and their families. The Genesis Foundation earnestly appeals to people from all walks of life to demonstrate the spirit of "one island, one life," collaboratively navigating against the current to assist the disadvantaged in society.
