(Central News Agency Information Service 20230427 09:37:39) Today, several government agencies and private enterprises held a "Post-Epidemic Era Tourism, Catering, and Craftsmanship Low-Carbon Ecological Circle - Cross-Border ESG Digital Transformation Symposium" in Taichung City. Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan, Chen Wen-tsann, and Director of the Digital Industry Office of the National Development Council, Lu Cheng-hua, also recorded congratulatory and affirmative videos expressing support and encouragement for the promotion of digital transformation by private enterprises.

Wu Chia-ying, Deputy Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (referred to as Zhongqi Office), also attended the event and delivered a insightful speech, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Taiwan. Deputy Director Wu pointed out that when facing market changes and competitive pressures, small and medium-sized enterprises need to actively transform to improve product quality and innovation capabilities, and digital transformation is an important way to achieve this goal. She also explained more about the subsidy policies of Zhongqi Office for the benefit of more enterprises.

In addition, Chen Mei-hsiu, Director of the Taichung City Tourism and Travel Bureau, shared the relevant experience of ESG green tourism at the meeting and encouraged more information service providers to integrate with the Taichung City Tourism Bureau platform to create a win-win market. Qiu Xun-ying, Director of the Employment Service Center of the Central, Changhua, and Taichung Branch of the Labor Development Administration of the Ministry of Labor, urged business owners to apply for the "Small Enterprise Manpower Enhancement Program" and affirmed the contribution of the Association for Innovative Development of Vocational Training Education in Chinese Society to government training.
