On the 30th of this month, JOIN IT, in collaboration with Mega Master Technology and the Commerce Development Research Institute, will co-host a one-day event titled "Web 3.0 Digital Transformation Ecosystem Integration Seminar and Small Business Big Plan Marketing Subsidy Activity" at the Sheraton Taipei. This event aims to assist industries in digital transformation, while also promoting the response to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives for carbon reduction, maximizing its social impact.

The event will feature a keynote address by Mr. Lu Cheng-Hua, the newly appointed Director-General of the Digital Industry Development Bureau of the Executive Yuan. Other supporting organizations include the Local Creation Department of the Institute for Information Industry, the Central Taiwan Tourism Industry Alliance, the Travel Quality Assurance Association of the Republic of China, Taipei Sustainable Metaverse Rotary Club, Taiwan Blockchain University Alliance, Taiwan Game Industry Cooperation and Development Association, Taiwan Blockchain Enthusiasts Association, Boss Information Security Company, Hongyi International Company, Lingzhi Technology Company, Chang Lin Innovation Company, Jing Chain Technology Company, and LeMi Interactive Technology Company.

Ms. Chan Ting-Yi, former chairperson of the National Communications Commission and honorary director of the Taiwan Blockchain Enthusiasts Association, will share insights on "Digital Transformation - Web3 (Next-generation Internet) and the Challenges and Opportunities of the Metaverse." Mr. Lee Chen-Hua, section chief at the Institute for Information Industry, will also provide perspectives on "The Next Stage of Blockchain Development."

The event will also include a forum on "Cross-Domain Virtual and Real Integration Applications in the Metaverse," hosted by Yvonne Chen, founder of Ceres Capital. Participants include Patrick, co-founder of None Capital, Wang Yansheng, Business Development Manager at Cybavo, Zheng Qiyuan, co-founder of Re:Dreamer, and Ye Jiaxing, co-founder of VEXMETA.

Forum 2 is chaired by Peng Shaofu, Chairman of the Taiwan Blockchain University Alliance, who will host the discussion on the "Current Status of Blockchain Applications in Taiwan." The panel includes Huang Qicheng, Chairman of Boss Information Security Co., Ltd., Jian Shuyong, Chairman of the Taiwan Virtual Currency Anti-Money Laundering Association, Huang Yizhan, CEO of Jing Chain Technology Co., Ltd., Gao Chenxi, President of Taipei Sustainable Metaverse Rotary Club, Wang Zhengyu, Director General of ABA Asia Blockchain Accelerator, and Li Tingting, Founder of The Z Institute Blockchain Online Academy.

In the afternoon session, Zhou Shulin, Director of the Local Creation Service Department of the Institute for Information Industry, will be a guest speaker. Additionally, Chairman Hsu Tiancai of the Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) will be present to share insights into the three essential transformations (digital transformation + ESG sustainable transformation + lifestyle transformation). Chairman Xue Weili of JOIN IT will showcase the full functionality of the cloud-based smart platform and demonstrate how to effectively attract customers through social cards. The aim is to promote more application scenarios, accelerate the digital operational capabilities of the tourism industry, introduce digital technology, and incorporate more concepts of WEB3.0 (next-generation Internet). Through blockchain technology, communication channels and dialogue volume between consumers and industries will be established, aligning with President Tsai Ing-wen's policy framework of a "digital nation, smart island."

The event will conclude with a session chaired by Chairman Huang Zhengcong of the Central Taiwan Tourism Industry Alliance Association on the "Importance of Industrial Digital Transformation." Representatives from various industries include Zhang Baoren, Director of the Taiwan Catering Industry Alliance; Lin Jicai, Chairman of Lingzhi Technology Co., Ltd., representing the hotel system; Wei Zhenjun, Chairman of Lai Fu Health Leisure Resort, representing the hotel industry; Zhang Xinying, Chairman of the National Association of Homestay in Taiwan; Lu Zhonghao, Chairman of the Taoyuan City Travel Business Association, representing the travel industry; Lin Jianliang, Chairman of the National Association and New Taipei City Car Leasing Business Association, representing the small car industry; and Zhou Zhengxun, Chairman of Amor Enterprises, representing the retail industry.
