A loving car delivers warmth to southern Taiwan! Corporate philanthropy keeps vegetative families in Kaohsiung and Pingtung fed

Due to the prolonged impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, many industries have faced challenges, leading to difficulties for social welfare organizations in fundraising. The Kaohsiung branch of the Creation Charity Foundation recently sought assistance from businesses. The compassionate company, Together Management Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Together"), promptly initiated a nationwide charity event called "Collect Vegetable Boxes, Send Love to Vegetative Patients." The demand for cold-chain delivery of vegetable boxes in the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area alone reached 300 boxes.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic, there have been reports of damage to vegetable boxes due to traffic congestion in cold-chain logistics. In light of this, Together specifically sought assistance from Kerry TJ Logistics, hoping they could help with the cold-chain delivery of these vegetable boxes.

General Manager Zhang Guodian of Kerry Darong Logistics Operations Department, who accepted the delivery task for this charity event, said, "I accepted the customer's request from the company at the first time. In adhering to one of the company's core corporate values, we do our best (Commitment). ) spirit of serving customers, and knowing that it is such a meaningful charity event, Kerry Tai Wing certainly has no reason to miss it.”

In this charitable initiative, Chairman Xue Wei-li utilized his expertise in resource integration to guide affected small farmers and cooperatives in harvesting. He addressed the challenging issue of cold-chain logistics and, leveraging his extensive network within various communities, successfully subscribed all vegetable boxes in the Kaohsiung-Pingtung area within a day. Chairman Xue Wei-li expressed his gratitude for the support from various compassionate individuals, emphasizing the increased sense of responsibility. To ensure that love could reach vegetative patients' families directly, he sought assistance from General Manager Chang Kuo-ten of Kerry TJ Logistics.

General Manager Chang not only promised assistance but also promptly instructed Director Lin Chien-liang, District Manager Liao Chieh-hua, Director Lin Chin-yuan, and Director Yu Chien-chung, among other executives, to fully support the smooth execution of the donation to the Kaohsiung branch.

Director Zhou Guan-hua of the Kaohsiung branch of the Creation Charity Foundation expressed sincere gratitude to Chairman Xue Wei-li of Together Management Technology Co., Ltd. for his benevolence. Upon learning that public welfare activities were suspended due to the pandemic, causing severe impact on social welfare organizations, and with a 50% drop in donations for specific projects, Chairman Xue Wei-li promptly donated NT$100,000. He also pledged to collect 1,000 vegetable boxes, benefiting all branches of the Creation Charity Foundation and families of vegetative patients nationwide.
