The ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic since last year has significantly affected the development of domestic tourism in Taiwan. In an effort to expedite the recovery of the tourism industry in the post-pandemic era, AVEC, a technology company, and the Chinese Association of Training and Development for Vocational Education, are collaborating under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Tainan City Government. Today, they are jointly organizing the "Cross-Domain Integration Summit for the Ecological Circle of the Tourism Industry" at the Creative Tourism Factory on Wanguo Road in Tainan. The event has attracted numerous stakeholders from the tourism industry and representatives from public associations. Directors Wu Zhongren of Rotary International District 3470 (covering Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, and Penghu) and Director Cai Zhengwang of Rotary International District 3510 (covering Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Taitung) are leading their affiliated Rotary Clubs to express support. Representatives from various private organizations and their corporate welfare committees are also present, demonstrating tangible support for revitalizing domestic tourism.

Chen Kailin, Director of the Economic Development Bureau of the Tainan City Government, emphasized that the tourism industry's ecological circle encompasses a wide range of sectors, including food, accommodation, transportation, shopping, and activities. With the gradual easing of the pandemic and the advent of the tourism revitalization era, the entire tourism industry must undergo new reforms. Collaborative alliances, rather than individual efforts, are the trend of the times, as they can bring about synergies greater than the sum of their parts. Tainan boasts the highest number of tourism factories in Taiwan, totaling 24. Additionally, Tainan has a total of 14,000 rooms in accommodation establishments. By leveraging the cloud-based intelligent tourism platform created through collaboration between the government, industry, academia, and research, consumers will have more choices, better quality control, and more practical discounts through the platform. Stacking these benefits aims to stimulate consumer spending, presenting a novel and mutually beneficial business model.

Responding to this initiative, Director Wu Zhongren of Rotary International District 3470 pointed out that Rotary International has a special focus in the 2021-2022 fiscal year on promoting Rotary service days, particularly in collaboration with government agencies and non-Rotary partners. The focus is on "Community Economic Development," one of the seven key areas that Rotary International has long been concerned about. The current event combines the efforts of Rotary Clubs and outstanding business owners to actively support domestic tourism. Director Cai Zhengwang of Rotary International District 3510 stated that Rotary's slogan for this year is "Improving Lives Through Service." AVEC's assistance in integrating the tourism ecological circle provides consumers with more valuable package deals, and the future use of social events by Rotary Clubs will simultaneously promote the revitalization of the tourism industry, making it a meaningful endeavor.

Chairman of AVEC and also Chairman of In One Technology Co., Ltd., Xue Weili, pointed out that in recent years, the outbreak of the pandemic has accelerated the change in people's lifestyles and consumption habits, shifting from physical consumption to the era of online consumption. Through analysis from both the market and demand sides, if the business service industry can establish innovative cross-domain and cross-industry operating models, allowing the data chains of different industries to be instantly shared and circulated through the same platform, understanding the differences in consumer habits of different types will expand each other's customer base, thereby revitalizing the economy. Recently, with strong support from the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, In One Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Business Development Research Institute and Great-Gen Computer System Co., Ltd., has created the "New Type Cloud Smart Tourism Industry Integration Platform." This platform integrates five major industries: tourism, accommodation, catering, services, and retail. It combines resources and knowledge from various sectors of the industry, government, academia, and research, establishing a global tourism industry member points transaction cloud platform. It provides enterprises with AI analysis of customer profiles, precise marketing of user behavior habits and preferences, integrates the supply chain of related industries, and offers member benefits, aiming to stimulate repetitive consumption and achieve economic revitalization. The platform has already completed member joint cooperation with "A-Shu Shoes" and "World Gym" in August and September this year, respectively. In the future, through the integration of virtual and real cross-domain and cross-industry, as well as member guidance, it will contribute to the revitalization of domestic tourism!

Central Taiwan Tourism Industry Alliance Chairman Huang Zhengcong stated: This year, the tourism industry has encountered an unprecedented impact and urgently needs to integrate resources. With the support of the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, AVEC's promotion of cross-industry cooperation is expected to open up new markets and explore a new blue ocean for the tourism industry.

Chairman of CDRI (Commerce Development Research Institute) Hsu Tien-tsai expressed that in response to the impact of the pandemic, turning the crisis into an opportunity is essential in the current environment of unprecedented changes and challenges. The trend of cross-domain integration and the creation of a new ecosystem are inevitable. The "New Type Cloud Smart Tourism Industry Integration Platform" project integrates five major industries: tourism, accommodation, catering, services, and retail. It combines relevant resources and knowledge from academia and industry to establish a global hotel industry member points transaction cloud platform, effectively providing precise marketing based on the behavioral habits and preferences of enterprise users, and introducing a new business model. With the joint efforts of four cities to revitalize the tourism industry, it is believed that it will synergize with the central government's issuance of the stimulus vouchers, helping businesses seize opportunities and boost revenue in the post-pandemic era.

Manager Cai Xiu-ru from ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute) mentioned that the tourism industry is a symbiotic and mutually beneficial ecosystem. As a new type of industry, she is pleased that tourism factories can integrate various tourism resources, with strong support from the Industrial Development Bureau. This year, in line with the revitalization efforts, an online shopping platform for touring tourism factories has been launched. In addition to integrating introductions and shopping experiences from 161 tourism factories across Taiwan, there are also value-for-money buy-one-get-one-free promotions. Everyone is welcome to search for "Touring Tourism Factory" online.

The second forum, "How to Effectively Unite and Increase Consumption Value in the Tourism Ecosystem," was highlighted by AVEC Society Chairman Xue Weili. He mentioned that AVEC has been assisting hotels in customer acquisition since last year, providing domestic corporate training to make enterprise welfare committees aware of domestic travel, and collaborating with various travel and tourism industry partners to generate actual orders for hoteliers. Distinguished guests participating in the discussion included Chairman Tsai Zong-yi of Lihao Chain Hotels, Executive Director Xu Pei-yuan of Laya Burger - Senbun Co., Ltd., Lin Qun-ling, Public Relations Manager of Axiu Group, Chairman Hsu Li-sheng of the Republic of China Tourism Factory Promotion Association, and Chairman Li Ri-dong of the Taiwan Catering Alliance.

Chairman Hsu Li-sheng of the Republic of China Tourism Factory Promotion Association stated that the association's long-term goal is to promote tourism factory brands, creating a win-win-win situation where consumers travel with peace of mind, manufacturers operate diligently, and the government promotes with confidence. He hopes that through the exchange at this summit, they can connect with the international market through the Together Cloud Smart Tourism Platform and collaborate with strong brands for joint marketing, bringing new opportunities to tourism factory operators.

Chairman Tsai Zong-yi of Lihao Chain Hotels expressed that the industry seeks innovation, uniqueness, and customer satisfaction, surpassing customer expectations. In the highly competitive market, the most valuable way to break through and lead in the blue ocean market is through "cross-industry alliances." This not only satisfies customer needs but also exceeds their expectations, creating customer demand. AVEC Society has provided multiple suggestions to the government during the pandemic and urged relevant authorities to implement measures to support the industry. During this period of transformation, Chairman Tsai also hopes that various industries can collaborate more to establish strong alliances and provide better services to customers.

Axiu Group expressed optimism about the resurgence of domestic tourism. In addition to meeting the needs of the footwear industry, this collaboration with AVEC will benefit 2 million members directly. By combining life, food, and travel, they aim to offer members exclusive discounts and points redemption benefits. They plan to continue developing exclusive services for members to meet diverse usage needs.
