The post-pandemic era is also an era of tourism revitalization. The Association for Vocational and Continuing Education Innovation Development (AVEC) and the Central Taiwan Tourism Industry Alliance (CTTA) joined forces to convene the "Cross-Domain Integration Summit of the Tourism Industry Ecosystem," bringing together nearly 250 representatives from industry, government, academia, and research. The event not only marked the establishment of the "Regional Tourism Alliance" for the Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, and Kaohsiung areas but also discussed topics such as "how to effectively unite the tourism ecosystem to enhance consumer value" and promoted the "Civilian Assured Travel 3.0 Enhanced Edition."

Distinguished guests and experts attending the meeting included Chen Kailin, Director-General of the Economic Development Bureau of Tainan City Government, Chairman Hsu Tien-tsai of the Foundation for Commerce Development Research, Vice Executive Director Wang Kai-xian of the Executive Yuan's Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Joint Services Center, Li Shin-jung, Chief of the First Section of the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, heads of tourism bureaus in the four counties and cities in the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan regions, Chairman Hsu Li-sheng of the Republic of China Association for Promoting Tourist Factory, and others. A total of 65 representatives from public associations, including tourism associations, hotel associations, homestay associations, tourist factory associations, catering, travel agencies, tour guide groups, small buses, and 20 cooperating units such as LihPao Land, Asustek Shoes, Tung Tung Restaurant Group, Lihpao Group, Laaya Hamburgers, Uber, as well as multiple Rotary clubs led by District Governors of Rotary International Districts 3470 and 3510, business owners, and representatives of welfare committees participated in the event.

Chen Kailin stated that the tourism industry ecosystem is a very extensive subject, encompassing aspects such as food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and transportation. With the easing of the pandemic and the arrival of the era of tourism revitalization, the entire tourism industry must undergo new reforms. The trend is no longer about individual efforts; industry alliances are essential to bring about business opportunities where 1 plus 1 is greater than 2 in the new era.

Tainan has a total of 24 tourist factories, and the total number of rooms in Tainan accommodations reaches 14,000. If the cloud-based smart tourism platform created through the collaboration of industry, government, and research can integrate various tourism industry services, allowing consumers to have more choices, better quality control, and more substantial discounts through the platform, and stimulate consumer spending by stacking discounts, it is believed that this will be a new and mutually beneficial business model.

AVEC Chairman and Chairman of Together Management Technology Co., Ltd., Xue Weili, pointed out that the pandemic has accelerated changes in people's lifestyles and consumption habits, shifting gradually from physical consumption to the era of online consumption. Through market-side and demand-side analysis, if the business service industry can establish innovative cross-domain and cross-industry operating models, allowing different industries' data chains to be instantly shared and circulated through the same platform, understanding the differences in the habits of different types of consumers, it will be possible to expand each other's customer base and thus stimulate the economy.

With strong support from the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Together Management Technology Co., Ltd., along with the Foundation for Commerce Development Research and Large Synoptic Systems Co., Ltd., has recently collaborated to create a "new-type cloud-based smart tourism industry integration platform." This platform integrates the five major industries of tourism, accommodation, catering, services, and retail, combining relevant resources and knowledge from industry, government, academia, and research. It establishes a global tourism industry member point transaction cloud platform and provides companies with AI analysis of customer profiles, user behavior habits, and precise marketing. It connects the integration of related industry supply chains and offers member discounts with the hope of driving repeat consumption and thereby achieving the revitalization of the economy. The platform has already completed member joint cooperation with Asustek Shoes and World Gym in August and September this year, and in the future, it will work together for the revitalization of domestic tourism through cross-domain, cross-industry integration, and member guidance.

CTTA Chairman Huang Zhengcong stated that the Tourism Industry Alliance is committed to assisting the industry in promoting the development of food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and transportation. The industry alliance not only serves as a consensus alliance but also bridges cooperation between industries, allowing businesses to overcome the previous challenges of working alone. Through the strength of public associations and local organizations, the goal is to collectively promote the tourism industry for optimal benefits. The core spirit of the cloud-based smart tourism industry platform provided by AVEC aligns with the mission of the alliance, and there is an expectation that, in the future, the AVEC platform tools will contribute to achieving outstanding results for the tourism industry.

Xu Tiancai added that in response to the impact of the pandemic, turning the crisis into an opportunity is an inevitable trend in the unprecedented and challenging environment. The project "New-type Cloud-based Smart Tourism Industry Integration Platform" integrates five major industries: tourism, accommodation, catering, services, and retail. It combines relevant resources and knowledge from industry and academia, establishing a global tourism hotel industry member point transaction cloud platform. This platform effectively provides precise marketing based on the behavior habits and preferences of corporate users, offering a new business model. The joint efforts of the four cities in this event to revitalize the tourism industry are expected to synergize with the central distribution of the stimulus vouchers, helping businesses seize opportunities and boost revenue in the post-pandemic era.

As for A-SHOE, they expressed optimism about the revival of domestic tourism. In addition to meeting the needs of the "footwear" scene from their main business, the collaboration with AVEC will directly benefit two million members. Combining life, food, and travel, they provide members with exclusive discount content and points redemption benefits. In the future, they plan to continue developing exclusive services for members to meet diverse usage needs.

Rotary International District 3470 Governor Wu Zhongren pointed out that in the 2021-2022 Rotary year, Rotary International hopes for collaboration among Rotary clubs, especially with government agencies and non-Rotarian friends, to promote Rotary Service Day. Focus on the "Community Economic Development" among the seven major areas of concern for Rotary International. This event, combining the efforts of many outstanding business owners from Rotary clubs, advocates and supports domestic tourism, aiming to effectively revitalize tourism.

Rotary International District 3510 Governor Cai Zhengwang stated that Rotary's slogan for the year is "Improving Lives Through Service." After AVEC assisted in integrating the tourism ecosystem, providing consumers with more value-added package discounts, future Rotary club fellowship activities will be meaningful in promoting tourism industry revitalization.
